UNITED STATES COAST GUARD ENGAGES DECISION LENS FOR IT SERVICES AND SYSTEMS PRIORITIZATION

TOP DEFENSE AGENCY USING SOFTWARE SOLUTION FOR ENTERPRISE PRIORITIZATION AND SAFETY DECISIONS

Today Decision Lens announced that the U.S. Coast Guard is working with the software company for program objective memorandum budgeting, IT and R&D portfolio prioritizations, vendor selection, continuing education, and safety decisions.

The Coast Guard has been safeguarding our Nation’s maritime interests and environment around the world since 1790. With approximately $1 billion annually invested in major and non-major acquisition programs purchasing and modernizing the service’s ships, the Coast Guard is continually “recapitalizing” older and difficult-to-maintain assets in order to carry out missions.

“The U.S. Coast Guard is a major win to announce for Decision Lens,” said John Kealey, Chief Executive Officer of Decision Lens. “We are delighted in our work with the Coast Guard and are continually pleased with the progress we are making together. We enable the Coast Guard to clearly communicate their priorities to their organization, create defensible budget requests that support the most valuable projects, and capture the organizational expertise and judgments of stakeholders.”

In addition to the Coast Guard, Decision Lens software is used across federal and civilian organizations for better prioritization and resource allocation. Key government customers include the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, Marines, Navy, Army, Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Defense, General Services Administration, Department of Agriculture, and the Federal Aviation Administration. Commercial customers include Genentech, AstraZeneca, Sikorsky, and Johnson & Johnson, as well as state and local organizations such as the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the Mississippi Department of Transportation, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency and others.
