DECISION LENS AWARDED CONTRACT BY US NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND

NAVSEA TO USE DECISION LENS SOFTWARE FOR LONG-RANGE PLANNING OF INTEGRATED WARFARE SYSTEMS

Arlington, VA— Decision Lens has been contracted by the US Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) to provide Decision Lens Web (DLW) software to its Program Executive Offices to support long range planning. The Decision Lens software will be used within NAVSEA's Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems.

"Decision Lens has a deep business relationship with the US Navy," explained Decision Lens CEO John Saaty. "Our company has a proven track record of enabling our clients to make the best choices for prioritizing assets throughout the life-cycle of products and systems," Saaty continued. "This broad license for Decision Lens Web software will give NAVSEA the same advanced decision- making capabilities and benefits now being enjoyed by numerous organizations within the Navy and other armed forces."

The largest of the US Navy's five "systems commands," or materiel organizations, NAVSEA accounts for nearly one-fifth of the Navy's budget, with more than 100 acquisition programs under its oversight. NAVSEA's primary objective is to engineer, build and support the US Navy's fleet of ships and combat systems.

To meet that objective, NAVSEA is made up of five Program Executive Offices (PEO's) that are responsible for all aspects of life-cycle management of their assigned programs. PEO Integrated Warfare Systems (IWS) manages surface ship and submarine combat technologies and systems, and coordinates Navy Open Architecture across ship platforms.

PEOs report to the NAVSEA commander for planning and execution of in-service support, and to the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition for acquisition-related matters. Decision Lens software is used in support of Program Objective Memo 12 (POM12), to address long-range planning goals that not only meet current warfighting needs and build the Navy of the future, but also reduce Total Cost of Ownership.

Decision Lens software is used widely throughout the federal government and across the Intelligence Community, with clients including the US Navy, the Joint Staff and CENTCOM, among others. Within the commercial market, Decision Lens has numerous well-known clients including Johnson and Johnson, Corporate Executive Board, and the NFL's Green Bay Packers.
