DECISION LENS ADDS DALE A. LUMME AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF GOVERNMENT RELATIONS

Decision Lens, the leading provider of cloud-based collaborative decision making software, announced today that it has appointed Dale A. Lumme as Executive Vice President of Government Relations. Dale Lumme, a native of Madison, Ohio, has over 30 years of industry, government and joint service senior staff and operational naval aviation experience. Lumme is the former Chief Operating Officer of the Navy League, a world-wide, nearly 50,000 member association dedicated to supporting and advocating for the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and U.S.-Flag Merchant Marine. As EVP of Government Relations at Decision Lens, Dale Lumme will be working to drive new business opportunities in the federal, state and local government and commercial sectors to enhance the firm’s mindshare and client retention, along with managing our channel partner programs.

Lumme is a retired career naval officer and a 1980 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. After his first duty assignment with the CNO’s Politico-Military Policy Planning office, Dale reported to Pensacola for flight training, receiving his wings of gold in May 1982. Dale had combat deployments and overseas assignments across the seven seas, along with two tours of duty on the Joint Chiefs of Staff. While working on the Joint Staff, Dale coordinated Joint Warfighting Capabilities and Combat Readiness Assessments for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, along with Senior Readiness Oversight Council Forums for the Secretary of Defense. Dale also had two tours on Capitol Hill, his last as the Secretary of the Navy, Office of Legislative Affairs, Staff Director for the House of Representatives.

Lumme’s advanced academic and national security credentials include the U.S. Air Force Air War College; the Armed Forces Staff College, Joint Professional Military Education, along with a Masters of Education (I.T. & Leadership) from the University of West Florida. After transitioning from the Navy, Dale worked at the aerospace company ATK (Alliant Techsystems, Inc.), as a Government Relations Executive for more than 6 years, before transitioning to the Navy League.
