John Saaty

John Saaty

CEO and Co-Founder

John Saaty is the CEO, co-founder, and president of Decision Lens. Prior to Decision Lens, John was the Chief Marketing Officer for Earth Networks, a high-growth technology company, where he was responsible for marketing, product management, business development, and international market entry. Saaty also led the creation of a new business unit to provide live, local weather conditions and analytics to corporations and government organizations.

Prior to joining Earth Networks, Saaty was vice president of Marketing for Cysive, Inc., a multi-channel software solutions builder in Reston, VA., where he was responsible for building and managing comprehensive corporate marketing, business development, and product marketing capabilities, as well as directing the company through an IPO and a secondary offering to raise $180MM. Previously, Saaty was brand manager with Intel Corporation where he was responsible for brand management and marketing programs for microprocessors such as the Pentium Pro, Pentium with MMX Technology, Pentium II and Pentium III, as well as Intel chipsets. Saaty also developed the USB brand.

Saaty has an MBA with dual majors in marketing and entrepreneurial management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in English Literature with a minor in computer studies from Northwestern University.

Daniel Saaty

Dan Saaty has advised numerous Fortune 500 organizations and government agencies in mission-critical decisions – from multi-billion dollar strategic planning processes to decision management methodologies for major capital investments, portfolio management decision processes, and acquisition and best-value source selections.

An expert in the implementation of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Analytic Network Process (ANP), Mr. Saaty has over 15 years of experience in developing and implementing advanced decision methodologies.

Dan’s skill in decision process design and facilitation is widely sought after by companies and government agencies including Johnson and Johnson, Amtrak, the NFL, National Grid, Joint Chiefs of Staff, US Department of Defense, NASA, National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and the Military Health System among others.

The advanced decision methodologies designed and implemented by Mr. Saaty are routinely used in both the public and private sectors to prioritize mission-critical objectives, site selection, best-value source selection, enterprise risk management, human resource management, work effort prioritization, and engineering trade-off analysis decisions.

Kevin Connor

Kevin Connor is the Chief Product Officer of Decision Lens. Prior to Decision Lens, Kevin was the Director, Office of Program Management at Johnson & Johnson’s LifeScan where he was responsible for the portfolio and NPV governance processes across a multi-billion dollar Franchise. Kevin has a proven track record of accelerating growth and performance in organizations facing rapid change with nearly 20 years of experience in strategic planning, portfolio management, and new product development, specializing in process and organizational design.

During his tenure at J&J, Kevin led the commercialization of numerous global innovations for such brands as InTouch® –Diabetes, OneTouch®, Splenda® and Viactiv®.

Previously, Kevin was with the Colgate-Palmolive Company, where his work spanned ideation to strategic sourcing. Kevin co-founded and managed RailWayz, Inc., until its acquisition in 2005. Drawing on this diverse background, Kevin has repeatedly earned trusted advisor status among leaders and management teams from startups to the Fortune 500.

Ryan Gay

Ryan Gay

Ryan Gay brings 14 years of software engineering experience to Decision Lens. As Chief Technology Officer, Ryan is responsible for managing the software development, quality assurance, and technical operations team. He has forged the foundations of our platform, Decision Lens and will keep driving the innovation process. His technical acumen is well suited for the fast paced environment and a vital piece of Decision Lens’ continued success.

Prior to working at Decision Lens, Ryan worked at E*Trade Financial and was responsible for product application development for E*Trade Bank, where he designed, developed, built, and tested highly robust and scalable online transactional systems.

Ryan grew up in Burke, Virginia and graduated with a BS from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University where he studied Computer Science.

Mark Paiewonsky

Mark Paiewonsky

CFO

Mark is the Chief Financial Officer at Decision Lens. He comes to us with a diverse finance and accounting background in SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions, financial restructurings, audits, capital acquisition, and general ledger conversions. His past responsibilities have included overseeing the finance, accounting, legal, insurance, human resources and information technology functions of various entities.

He started his career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen LLP and then moved into the private sector where he has held various CFO and Controller roles with small to mid-sized public and private companies.

Prior to Decision Lens, he was the CFO of NYLX, Inc., a SaaS provider of loan automation services to the mortgage industry and the Controller at Eloqua Limited, a global SaaS marketing automation company. He was also the CFO at Cryptek, Inc., TREEV LLC and Globalink, Inc.

Mark graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Dr. Alison Denton

Dr. Alison Denton

COO

Alison is an innovative executive and manager who specializes in developing systems and structures that bring clarity and efficiency to changing organizations. She is passionate about and is responsible for ensuring customer success and renewals for the entire Decision Lens portfolio of Federal, State & Local, and Commercial SAAS customers. During her tenure at Decision Lens, Alison has implemented new structures and systems for tracking customer health and engagement. She developed a holistic view of customer success metrics by integrating key systems in new Customer Success Management system. The common thread throughout her 20+ years of work is her focus on serving the customer to make sure they are successful in getting the information, product or support they need to have positive impact in their organizations.

Prior to joining Decision Lens, Alison was the Director of Facilities Planning at Arlington Public Schools where she focused on capital planning, process improvement, and public participation. She also previously worked as an information technology professional and administrator at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, IL.

Ted Reynolds

Ted Reynolds

EVP Public Sector

Ted is the EVP of Public Sector business for Decision Lens. In this role, Ted is responsible for global Federal and SLED sales for Decision Lens, with a focus on growth of Decision Lens’ customer portfolio and expansion into untapped markets.

Prior to joining Decision Lens, Ted most recently served as VP of Planview's Federal & Mid-Atlantic sector, with overall responsibility for the development and execution of sales strategy, marketing, operations, and revenue attainment.

Ted brings a successful track record of more than 20 years that includes executive leadership roles and recognized achievements in the Federal and Commercial marketplaces. Ted blends diverse customer experience with best practice and technical knowledge gained over the years as a management consultant, system developer, and trainer to help organizations decrease cost, mitigate risk, and bring efficiencies into the enterprise.

Ted holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Computer Science from Vanderbilt University.

Jonathan Allen

Jonathan Allen

VP Customer Success

Jonathan oversees all client service and decision process implementation for customers at Decision Lens.  He provides advisory support, facilitation, and training to commercial, government, and non-profit clients on effective decision-making.  With expertise on decision-making processes, Jonathan loves to be in front of a diverse group of stakeholders wrestling with a difficult decision.  On any given day, he might be found training government employees on how to use an effective decision-making methodology, facilitating executives of a pharmaceutical company through a complex prioritization of R&D programs, or advising a non-profit board on the performance management competencies for their staff. 

Prior to joining Decision Lens, Jonathan was a Senior Consultant for Deloitte Consulting, LLP.  He worked with a wide variety of clients in the areas of strategic planning, performance measurement, customer strategy development, portfolio prioritization, policy development, and regulatory compliance.  While at Deloitte, Jonathan also became an experienced facilitator and led teams in facilitating both client and internal meetings. A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, Jonathan holds a JD and Master of Public Administration from the Syracuse University College of Law and the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. Jonathan also loves to ski (water and snow), coach soccer, pursue int’l development projects in Latin America, and spend time with his wife and four children. 

Sanjay Nayar

Sanjay Nayar

VP Product Management

Sanjay oversees the Decision Lens product direction working directly with Customers, Professional Services, and other internal and external stakeholders. Sanjay manages the full life cycle of product strategy, roadmap, feature requirements development, implementation, training, and support. As Product Director, Sanjay acts as the primary liaison between customer needs, business strategy and product engineering and development. Sanjay often provides product roadshow sessions to highlight key upcoming features and concepts to get feedback on the utility and product direction.

Prior to Decision Lens, Sanjay was the Product Director at AOL managing the cornerstone AOL.com web site which attracted over 12 million unique visitors and 50 Million page views daily. Sanjay also previously worked in Management Consulting at Booz Allen Hamilton where he performed economic, cost and financial analysis, business process reengineering, strategy, IT capital planning and portfolio management for Booz Allen’s Economic and Business Analysis team. Sanjay holds an MBA from the Smith School of Business at University of Maryland and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University. He has also received a post masters certificate in Information Systems from Johns Hopkins University

Josh Martin

EVP Marketing

Josh is the EVP of Marketing for Decision Lens. In this role, he leads a team of marketers focused on building brand awareness, developing demand generation programs and strategically positioning the company as a thought and market leader.

He has extensive experience working at B2B SaaS companies. Prior to Decision Lens, Josh served as the VP of Marketing at Brightspot where his team served a critical role in the company’s rebrand from Perfect Sense and rebuilt the strategic planning and process frameworks for the marketing team.

Josh brings a diverse background to Decision Lens including roles in product management, product marketing, sales and marketing. This unique blend of experiences has allowed him to build extremely effective marketing organizations. Leveraging deep buyer/market research, relying heavily on data analysis for optimizations and focusing on innovation he turns marketing teams into a true partner across the organization to drive change, deliver value and ensure alignment.

Josh earned his Bachelor of Science from Babson College.
