UNITED STATES CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION AGENCY SELECTS DECISION LENS SOFTWARE FOR STRATEGIC PLANNING AND RESOURCE OPTIMIZATION

KEY EXPANSION WITHIN DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY

Today Decision Lens announced that Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has selected Decision Lens software for multiple operational planning and resourcing uses.

With more than 60,000 employees, CBP is one of the world’s largest law enforcement organizations and is charged with keeping terrorists and their weapons out of the U.S. while facilitating lawful international travel and trade. As the world’s first full-service border entity, CBP takes a comprehensive approach to border management and control, combining customs, immigration, border security, and agricultural protection into one coordinated and supportive activity.

CBP will be using Decision Lens in a range of operating areas from administrative functions to IT planning and investments, facilities planning and investments, HR for workforce planning, and others.

“In today’s ever-changing international environment, the role of Customs and Border Protection continues to gain in importance and need. With challenges that range from employing new technologies, to deploying it’s highly specialized workforce, to expansion and investment in state-of-the-art facilities, it is our distinct pleasure to be working with the leadership team on strategy and resource optimization to get the most out of CBP’s capabilities,” said John Kealey, CEO of Decision Lens.

Decision Lens software is used across numerous organizations for better strategic prioritization and resource allocation. Federal customers include the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, Navy, Army, Coast Guard, General Services Administration, Department of Agriculture, and the Federal Aviation Administration among many others. State and local organizations include the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the State of Ohio Office of the CIO, San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, and Seattle Public Utilities among others. Commercial customers that have been announced include Johnson & Johnson, Genentech, Mondelez, and Sikorsky among others.
