DECISION LENS RANKED IN NATIONAL TOP 25 OF 2011 “GREAT PLACE TO WORK” BEST WORKPLACES LIST

Decision Lens, a leading provider of desktop and Web-based collaborative decision making software, was ranked Number 25 nationally in the Great Place to Work® Rankings: 2011 Best Small & Medium Workplaces Presented by Entrepreneur® list, announced October 18, 2011.

Earlier this year, Decision Lens was listed in Inc. Magazine’s fastest growing list of private companies, and was recognized by Red Herring as a Top 100 Most Innovative Company.  Gartner Group has recognized Decision Lens in their research as a new “cool vendor”.

The Great Place to Work ranking recognizes companies that have exceptional workplace cultures. The competition is divided into two categories, Small (25-250 employees) and Medium (251-999 employees). Decision Lens’ ranking was in the Small category.

In describing the outstanding and unusual aspects of working for Decision Lens, Great Place to Work noted, “Forget steak knives – successful sales people here get customized action figures of themselves. To keep people inspired, Decision Lens sponsors outings to off-site activities like racing Audis or the Hubble Space Telescope operations center for a special tour not usually offered to the public. They also create a sense of ownership: a performance bonus of 15% is achievable for every employee and the bonus has been paid ahead of time for the past three years.”

According to Decision Lens CEO John Saaty, “Our employees have been largely responsible for our phenomenal sustained growth and our sterling reputation among analysts and our clients. It’s only fitting that we create an environment for these valued team members. As we continue to add talent to meet the increasing demand for our software and services, Decision Lens will continue to meet the needs of the changing workforce with benefits that meet their needs financially and creatively.”

Creators of the list, Great Place to Work has found that employees believe they work for great organizations when they consistently trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do and enjoy the people they work with.

“The companies featured on this year’s list are truly extraordinary in their practices and achievements,” said Susan Lucas-Conwell, CEO of Great Place to Work. “Their leaders recognize the value of creating great workplaces and the competitive edge it provides them.”
