DECISION LENS TAPS JOHN KEALEY AS NEW CEO

Decision Lens, a leading provider of Web-based collaborative decision making software, has named well-known technology executive John Kealey as CEO, effective October 1.

Company co-founder John Saaty, who successfully grew Decision Lens from a start-up to a leader in collaborative decision making, remains in the senior leadership as President and Chairman of the Board. Other Decision Lens senior executive positions are unchanged – co-founder and CTO Dan Saaty and COO Tony Serafino maintain their positions, to ensure leadership continuity.

“Since the beginning, we wanted to bring the science behind Decision Lens’ products out of the halls of academia into the corporate world, to help companies grow their businesses,” explained John Saaty. “The time is right to grow our own, and John Kealey is the right person to take us to the next level.”

“This past year has seen a sea-change of success for Decision Lens, with the launch of Decision Lens 3, and national expansion of the company with West Coast, New England, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and international teams,” Saaty continued. “John Kealey’s skill sets in guiding growth, go-to-market focus, and behavioral change and leadership, along with his financial acumen, all come together set the stage for even greater growth.”

John Kealey has over 25 years of senior executive experience in technology and communications. He was the CEO of satellite based technology company iDirect Technologies, which in his seven years at the helm grew from startup to $120MM in revenues. Most recently, Kealey ran Vivisimo, beginning in 2009, guiding the business from an enterprise search company into a Big Data leader – an achievement for which he was recognized as a finalist for “Executive of the Year in 2011” at the American Business Awards.

He was selected by Via Satellite magazine as the “2004 Satellite Executive of the Year” and The Ernst and Young Washington DC Area Communications “Entrepreneur of the Year” for 2005. He began his career at Coopers & Lybrand and holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
