DECISION LENS NAMED TO FAST 50 LIST BY WASHINGTON TECHNOLOGY MAGAZINE

Decision Lens, a leading provider of desktop and Web-based decision support software for enterprise resource allocation and planning, has been named to the Washington Technology Fast 50 in the company’s first year of participation.

The announcement follows closely on news of Decision Lens’ ranking in the 2010 Inc. 500/5000 list of fastest growing private companies. In July, Decision Lens was listed by the Washington Business Journal as one of the top 25 small technology companies in the Washington metropolitan area.

Eligibility in the Washington Technology Fast 50 list is open to small businesses and the ranking is focused on the government market, although Decision Lens has numerous government and commercial customers. To be considered, companies submit five years of government contracting revenue data, which is used to calculate their compound annual growth rate. Companies are ranked by their growth rate, not by their overall revenue.

The revenue figures submitted by the top-ranking companies, along with their actual rank in the list, will be published as part of the Washington Technology Fast 50 print and online editions in October.

“In a time when the economy is still slow to rebound, this recognition of Decision Lens’ consistent growth is particularly gratifying,” said Decision Lens CEO John Saaty. “We’re proud to be able to bring tools and services to clients that enable clear-headed pragmatic decisions about how to prioritize budget dollars and other assets to meet their business needs.”

Recently recognized by Gartner Group as a “Cool Vendor” in the emerging field of collaborative decision making software, Decision Lens has enjoyed a 90%+ annual growth rate since 2005.

Decision Lens software is used widely throughout the federal government and across the Intelligence Community, with clients in the Department of Defense, Intelligence, Civilian agencies, and state-level DOTs and transit organizations. Decision Lens also serves numerous well-known national and international commercial clients including Johnson and Johnson, Siemens, Petrobras, the NFL, and Major League Baseball among other organizations.
