DECISION LENS NAMED TO FANTASTIC 50 LIST BY VIRGINIA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

Decision Lens, a leading provider of desktop and Web-based collaborative decision making software, has been named to the Virginia Fantastic 50 List of fastest growing companies.

Sponsored by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, The Fantastic 50 is the only statewide competition to recognize the 50 leading businesses, headquartered in the commonwealth, for their entrepreneurial success and contribution to Virginia's economic vitality. The accounting firm of Goodman and Company verified Decision Lens’ financial information for the Virginia Chamber of Commerce recognition.

Award recipients were recognized at the Fantastic 50 Awards Banquet on April 28, 2011. All award winners also will be recognized in a special section of the May issue of Virginia Business magazine.

“We’re very pleased to have received this recognition from Virginia,” said Decision Lens CEO John Saaty. “We are based in Arlington in Northern Virginia, and our company has grown substantially and consistently from our very earliest days. A good deal of the success can be attributed to the business-friendly climate that Virginia offers.  Virginia was founded on the opportunities it provided for business, and continues that tradition today. We provide commercial and government clients with a means of prioritizing resources against their business-critical initiatives. The diverse mix of businesses in the Commonwealth has given us a tremendous platform from which to expand. We look forward to continued growth this year and beyond.”

In 2010, Decision Lens was recognized by Inc. Magazine on their top 500/5000 list of fastest growing private companies nationwide. Ranked at Number 769 in a field of 5000, Decision Lens saw a three-year growth rate of 398% in 2010. The company has grown at a 90%+ annual growth rate since 2005.

Last year, Decision Lens was listed among Washington Technology’s Fast 50 privately held government contracting firms and by Washington Business Journal as one of the top 25 small technology companies in the Washington metropolitan area. The company was recognized by industry analysts The Gartner Group as a “Cool Vendor” in the emerging field of collaborative decision making software.

Decision Lens software is used widely throughout state and federal government agencies and across the Intelligence Community, with clients including the US Navy, the Joint Staff and CENTCOM. Decision Lens also serves numerous well-known national and international commercial clients such as Petrobras, Johnson and Johnson, Kraft, and the Superbowl-winning Green Bay Packers, among other organizations.
