DECISION LENS ACHIEVES APPROVAL FOR NAVY MARINE CORPS INTRANET

Arlington, VA. — Decision Lens' proven, powerful decision-making technology has achieved certification for use on the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and Functional Area Manager (FAM) approval by the Department of the Navy.

By receiving certification, Decision Lens can be adopted by Navy and Marine Corps organizations with the assurance that the software is compatible with the Navy's existing technology infrastructure.

NMCI, the largest single enterprise Intranet in the world, provides the Navy and Marine Corps with secure, universal access to integrated voice, video and data communications. It also offers an extensive range of network-based information services including the most up-to-date commercial technologies. Due to NMCI's intense security, all applications, software and hardware must go through an intensive certification process to ensure secure interoperability and compatibility with the NMCI network.

In addition, to avoid redundant software applications, all new technology must receive Functional Area Manager approval to ensure the Navy cannot get the same functionality through already approved technology.

“We are excited about receiving approval for use on the NMCI and compliance by the Functional Area Manager,” said John Saaty, chief executive officer of Decision Lens. “It was a rigorous certification process and now the Navy and the Marine Corps can easily employ our technology to make more effective decisions with the guarantee that it is secure and compatible with their information systems.”

Decision Lens has developed a unique solution to help government, businesses and other leading organizations to make critical decisions on crucial issues using the intelligence of key players, vital data and other relevant factors.
