The Director of Federal Technology must be an accomplished "self-starter" who understands the intricacies of doing business with the federal government. This role is responsible for establishing themselves as an industry expert and delivering proof of concepts demonstrating Decision Lens’ value. The successful candidate must be able to articulate the technology, decision process, solution value and product positioning to both business and technical users. This role will work in conjunction with the sales team to close new business.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer goals and challenges to build Decision Lens demonstrations and establish Decision Lens as the best solution available.
  • Build rapport and relationships serving as the industry expert to prospective clients.
  • Work closely with other team members to drive the sales cycle to completion.
  • Maintain high level knowledge of competitive product lines, especially as it relates to technical strengths and weaknesses of the competitor's products.
  • Assist in the preparation of responses to RFI/RFP.
  • Deliver technical sales presentations to customer’s technical staff and executive management.
  • Able to document and convey customer requirements to Product Management team.

  • Tech saavy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years relevant experience in the Federal Government
  • Prior military service preferred
  • Top Secret Clearance preferred
  • Experience driving and shaping the sales cycle
  • Executive selling experience with senior leadership
  • Demonstrated success providing technical sales support in enterprise software sales to the Federal Government
  • Experience in fast paced environment
  • Able to travel throughout sales territory
