Decision Lens Awarded Software Contract by United States Central Command
CENTCOM Selects Software Based on Successful Track Record with Joint Staff
(Arlington, VA. - October 23, 2009) — Decision Lens has been awarded a contract to provide its software and professional services to the United States Central Command (CENTCOM). CENTCOM will use Decision Lens software to support the allocation of funds and prioritization of programs for its force structure, resource and assessment directorate (J8). The value of the contract was not disclosed, by mutual agreement.
CENTCOM, along with national and international partners, promotes cooperation among nations, responds to crises, and deters or defeats state and non-state aggression. In addition, it supports development and – when necessary – reconstruction to establish the conditions for regional security, stability, and prosperity.
"We're proud to have been selected by CENTCOM to support their important work," said Decision Lens President John Saaty. "Our contract award came about as a direct referral from Decision Lens' success with the Joint Staff and the credibility that we have built with that organization. We're pleased to provide CENTCOM with the same in-house functionality that the Joint Staff already has – as well as the benefits that functionality can provide."
Besides the Joint Staff and CENTCOM, Decision Lens software is used widely in the US Navy, throughout the federal government and across the Intelligence Community. Within the commercial market, Decision Lens has numerous well-known clients including Johnson and Johnson, Corporate Executive Board, and the NFL among other organizations.
