$92.5 Billion in Global Resource Planning Dollars Allocated through Decision Lens During 2009
Collaborative Decision Making Software Used Across Government and Private Enterprises around the World
Nearly $92.5 billion in resource planning dollars have been allocated for mission critical priority spending during 2009 using Decision Lens, a leading provider of desktop and Web-based collaborative decision making software. The investments in enterprise resource allocation and planning have been made across military and civilian government agencies and major multi-national corporations around the world.
In April, industry analyst firm Gartner named Decision Lens a "Cool Vendor" in the “Cool Vendors in Analytics, BI and Performance Management, 2010” report. The company provides software and services based around the mathematical concept of “analytical hierarchy processing” to weigh the interests of multiple stakeholders when reaching decisions about capital or other resource planning investments.
Decision Lens’ clients account for a combined $92,481,200,000 in prioritized resource allocations during 2009, according to the company’s CEO John Saaty.
“Our business is thriving despite – or possibly because of – the lingering stagnation in the world economy,” Saaty said. “With budgets frozen or reduced in both public and private sector spending, it is increasingly critical for company executives to make the wisest choices when allocating scarce resources. Decision Lens uses the collective wisdom of everyone involved in a business decision to create a framework for spending. Every decision maker is involved, and every one can clearly understand and agree about how the decisions were made.”
Decision Lens serves numerous well-known national and international commercial clients including Petrobras, Siemens, Walgreens, Johnson and Johnson, Corporate Executive Board, and the NFL, among other organizations. Decision Lens software also is used widely throughout the federal government and across the Intelligence Community, with clients in the US Navy, the Joint Staff and CENTCOM.
