John Saaty, Chief Executive Officer

John Saaty is the co-founder and CEO of Decision Lens. Prior to Decision Lens, John was the CMO for AWS WeatherBug, a high-growth technology company where he was responsible for marketing, product management, business development, and international market entry across the company. Saaty joined AWS in January of 2002 to develop and grow a new business unit in the energy sector, and in November of 2002 he was promoted to run the WeatherBug Business Division including business units in education, business services, and media services.

Prior to joining AWS, Saaty was vice president of Marketing for Cysive, Inc., a multi-channel software solutions builder in Reston, VA., where he was responsible for building and managing comprehensive corporate marketing, business development, and product marketing capabilities, as well as directing the company through an IPO and a secondary offering to raise $180MM. Previously, Saaty was brand manager with Intel Corporation where he was responsible for brand management and marketing programs for microprocessors such as the Pentium Pro, Pentium with MMX Technology, Pentium II and Pentium III, as well as Intel chipsets.

Saaty has an MBA with dual majors in marketing and entrepreneurial management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Daniel Saaty, VP Decision Solutions Group

Daniel Saaty has helped numerous Fortune 500 organizations and government agencies to successfully implement advanced decision-making methodologies. He has supported a broad range of high level decisions from multi-billion dollar acquisitions to designing project portfolio management methodologies for major organizational capital investment decisions.

Daniel has extensive decision process design and facilitation experience supporting commercial organizations such as Boeing, Johnson and Johnson, Dow, Intel, and Purina, and government agencies such as Joint Staff, NASA, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Social Security Administration, and many other organizations within the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense to allocate billions of dollars since 1997. Daniel is an expert in the implementation of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Analytic Network Process (ANP) for a variety of decisions including project selection/portfolio management, new product introductions, marketing program prioritization and investments, HR decisions, and engineering trade-off decisions among others.

Andrea Ferris, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer

Andrea Ferris joined Decision Lens in 2004. Prior to joining Decision Lens, Andrea held a variety of management positions at Johnson & Johnson including: Director of Investor Relations, Manager Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions and Plant Controller. She also spent several years at McNeil Consumer Products, a J&J subsidiary, in marketing and mergers & acquisitions. Prior to her time at J&J, Andrea worked for Lehman Brothers and Coopers & Lybrand in New York City in both M&A and as a CPA.

Andrea received her BS in Economics from Wharton with concentrations in Accounting, Decision Sciences and Finance. She received her MBA from Wharton with concentrations in Finance and Latin American Studies.

Tony Serafino, VP Business Development

Tony Serafino joined Decision Lens in July 2004 as Vice President of Business Development. He is a decision expert with a strong background in portfolio management, capital investment planning, and performance measurement. Tony has worked with numerous government agencies in the defense, intelligence, and civilian sectors to improve their decision-making and resource allocation processes. Prior to joining Decision Lens, Tony was a Senior Associate with Booz Allen Hamilton, where he led twenty consultants on various strategic, planning, and management related engagements. He also was responsible for market and business development within homeland security, defense, and intelligence communities. His client list included the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Central Command, Office of Management and Budget, Social Security Administration, and the Departments of Treasury, Justice, Health and Human Services, Interior, and Housing and Urban Development. Prior to working with Booz Allen, Tony was an officer in the U.S. Army.
